Pallet Stretch Film
Machine and hand grades with high elongation and puncture resistance.
Pallet stretch film secures the load to the pallet and prevents shifting, dust and moisture during transport and storage. Machine grade reduces film consumption with high stretch ratios; hand grade is practical for smaller shipments.

Typical Technical Properties
- Raw material
- LLDPE (cast or blown)
- Thickness
- 12 – 30 micron (typically 17, 20, 23 µm)
- Width
- 500 mm (standard); on request
- Stretch ratio
- Hand 150–200%, machine 200–300% (power stretch)
- Colour
- Clear, black, white; UV-stabilised option
Values are typical industry ranges; the producer's lot-specific TDS/MSDS is binding.

Frequently Asked Questions
Machine grade or hand grade?
If you wrap more than about 20 pallets a day, machine grade cuts both labour and film cost. At lower volumes hand grade is sufficient.
How do I choose the thickness?
17 µm for regular, light pallets; 23 µm and up for irregular or heavy loads (over 1 tonne). Power-stretch films achieve the same holding force at lower thickness.
What is pre-stretch film?
Film stretched during manufacture; it gives low consumption and a neat wrap even when applied by hand.
