Personal Data Protection Notice

1. Data controller

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), your personal data is processed by Göksar Ambalaj Gıda ve Plastik Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“Göksar”) as data controller, within the scope described below.

2. Personal data processed

• Identity and contact: full name, company name, email address, phone number
• Request details: product group of interest, order quantity, message and specifications
• Transaction security: IP address and time of submission (to prevent abuse)

3. Purposes of processing

• Receiving and evaluating your quote request and replying with price and lead time
• Contacting you about your request
• Preparing for a possible sales contract
• Preventing unwanted/automated submissions and ensuring information security

4. Legal grounds and method of collection

Your data is collected electronically through the quote form on our website and via email/WhatsApp, and processed on the legal grounds of KVKK Art. 5/2-c (directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract) and Art. 5/2-f (legitimate interest of the data controller).

5. Transfers

Your data is transferred, limited to the purposes above, to the providers of our email delivery, email hosting and website hosting services. Their servers may be located abroad (USA and EU); such transfers are made with the safeguards required under KVKK Art. 9.

Where necessary to fulfil your request (e.g. samples or shipment), only the required information may be shared with our supplier and logistics partners. Data may be disclosed to authorised public authorities upon lawful request.

6. Retention

Quote requests are kept for at most 2 years after the request is concluded; if a contract is formed, for the periods required by applicable law. Afterwards the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your rights under KVKK Art. 11

• To learn whether your data is processed and to request information about it
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
• To know the third parties, domestic or abroad, to whom it is transferred
• To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, and deletion or destruction where conditions are met, and notification of these actions to third parties
• To object to a result against you arising from analysis by automated systems
• To claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing

8. Applications

You can send requests regarding your rights to info@goksarplastik.com. Requests are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on their nature.
